Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), or air fryer to 380°F.
- Peel the onion and use a paring knife to core out a small hole at the top center.
- Sprinkle the cavity with garlic powder, paprika, Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
- Insert 2 tablespoons of butter into the core.
- Wrap the onion tightly in foil, sealing completely.
- Bake in the oven for 60–70 minutes or air fry for 25–30 minutes.
- Carefully unwrap and serve warm as a side or light main.
